Hull New Theatre is in the midst of a £15.9 million re-development programme and following the demolition of the Central Fire Station, work has begun on the refurbishment. Local property people are invited by the RICS Hull & East Yorkshire Local Association for an informative site tour on 23 November.
The development consortium Esteem, which is led by the Hull Based Sewell Group, began work in April. Consisting of an ambitious facelift, the works include an extension incorporating café and restaurant facilities to a new main entrance and also adds a further 200 seats to create a 1400 capacity venue.
Chartered Surveyor, Simon Delaney, from Delaney Marling Partnership helps to organise the events in the Humber Region. He says:
“RICS members and other local property people will get a tour of the on-going works by the lead project Manager Mark Boothby. The tour will consist of an initial lecture of the design stage followed by a tour through the building.”
“Please note, guests are required to bring their own PPE to this event including steel toe cap boots, hi-viz and hard hats.
